I am now looking forward to a career in social work and making a difference to the lives of children and young people. The different modules that I have studied on this course has really prepared me for the workplace. The practical elements combined with the theory has prepared me for the real-life scenarios. I now have the knowledge and ability to make a difference.”

Joanne Cherrie, Head of Curriculum for Early Years and Childcare added, “The Working with Children and Families degree provides many excellent career opportunities within the community sector. Jhelita has been a fantastic student and it has been a pleasure to see how she has engaged in all the modules, developing her learning and most importantly the work placement opportunities that she has experienced that have supported her progression into Social Work.”
