BURY COLLEGE UNIVERSITY CENTRE LAUNCHES NEW TEACHER TRAINING COURSES
Individuals with a passion for teaching and training will benefit from a wide range of new teacher training programmes this year at Bury College University Centre.
Bury College University Centre will be offering new nationally recognised teacher training courses awarded by the University of Huddersfield; the Certificate in Education (Cert Ed) and the Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
Both courses are ideal for those who have either work experience in industry with no prior teaching experience but have an aspiration to teach, or individuals who are currently working as a teacher or trainer within the post-14 lifelong learning sector, such as further education, sixth forms and adult learning and looking to progress their career and gain a formal teaching qualification.
Charlie Deane, Bury College Principal, said,
“Bury College University Centre is exceptionally proud of this new partnership with the University of Huddersfield. The University is recognised nationally and internationally for its excellence in teaching and we are privileged to be delivering these new courses.
Bury College University Centre holds a prestigious Silver Award under the Teaching Excellence Framework. To be able to complement this national recognition for quality with these new Teacher Training courses is great news for individuals wishing to progress into teaching.”
These new courses are in addition to the existing range of courses offered at Bury College University Centre. Those wishing to start a higher education course in the next academic year can apply now by calling 0161 280 8200, or by clicking here.
