Bury College University Centre is celebrating the exceptional results of their 2019 graduates as it is revealed that students have achieved the highest number of First Class Honours Degrees to date.
The university centre has seen exceptional achievements with 14 graduates achieving First Class Honours Degrees, 11 securing Distinctions and a further 95 graduating. The results are a clear indication of the hard work and commitment students have shown towards their studies.
Amongst those celebrating exceptional results were a group of ambitious Beauty entrepreneurs. Four Beauty Management BA (Hons) graduates were delighted to secure First Class Honours Degrees and now move their careers forward within the industry.
Beauty graduate Jazmin Starr, from Prestwich, is looking forward to progressing her career within a cosmetics company. Jazmin said, “I feel so very proud of myself to achieve a First Class Honours Degree! My Bury College University Centre experience has been wonderful, the tutors go above and beyond to help you. The course also gave me flexibility so that I was able to balance my family life.”
Working with Children and Families BA (Hons) students were as equally delighted, with five graduates achieving First Class Honours Degrees. Angela Wells from Bury was one of these achievers and is now looking forward to progressing within HMP Forest Bank where she works as a Prison Custody Officer.
Angela said, “I am extremely proud of myself and that my hard work and dedication has paid off. My tutors have offered me unlimited support and encouragement and I have enjoyed the personal approach that I have received.
Graduates from Professional Development in Early Years (Top up), Professional Development in Teaching Assistants (Top up), Early Years and Childhood Studies Foundation Degree, Teaching Assistants Foundation Degree, Design in Media Make-up FdSc, Hairdressing Management Foundation Degree, and Hairdressing Management BA (Hons) also celebrated First Class Honours Degrees and Distinctions.
